Why Work for RMS?

A word from our Managing Director

Gareth Poppleton

Firstly, Retail Merchant Services is no ordinary merchant services provider. We recognise the services we provide have a significant impact on the businesses and lives of our customers and we take these responsibilities seriously.

Our purpose is very important to us because we were founded on the belief that affordable card payment solutions should be available to everyone. Today, we are proud to provide award-winning services to over 45,000 small businesses.
We offer all the usual card payment solutions including card machines, online payments and phone payments.

But we’re different.

We listen, we have a conversation and when our customers call us, it will be one of our passionate Customer Care Advisors who pick up the phone, not a machine.
Secondly, we understand that our most valuable asset is our people. Our culture is
something special and our values of equality, transparency, ownership, teamwork and community are what have made RMS the place it is today.

We’re proud of our history and our success and we’re looking for passionate people to join us on our journey.

Don't just take our word for it...

"Working at a high-growth company like RMS is invaluable. There’s a constant feeling that you’re working towards a larger mission.”
Martin, Field Sales

"I’ve seen first-hand people join Retail Merchant Services, move into new roles and even create entire new teams. Career progression is truly possible with the right attitude.”
Jade, Recruitment Advisor

"I met Retail Merchant Services at the MK Job Show last year. I wasn’t even looking for a new job at the time, but now 18 months later I’m the top performer in the call centre.”
Raj, Telesales
